Fabrice Muamba walks for the first time since cardiac arrest

This is very encouraging. Fabrice Muamba continues to make steady progress to recovery. Still a long, long road ahead.

Bolton as a club also put some distance from the relegation zone despite being consumed by Muamba's life threatening condition (he was "clinically dead" for 78 minutes) in the latter part of last month. They won 2-1 against QPR before that fateful FA Cup match against Spurs in which Muamba collapsed leading to a postponement of their Villa fixture. They won against Blackburn and Wolves after resuming their season. Owen Coyle deservedly earned the Manager of the Month award.
