Francesco Totti becomes Serie's second highest scorer

Roma's talisman, Francesco Totti scored his 225th goal when he tucked away a spot kick, to share second place with Gunnar Nordahl in the list of Serie scoring leaders. A controversial decision because Mattia De Rossi was clearly not brought down by Cesare Bovo.

Roma beat Genoa, 3-1 and now lie in 7th place. Totti's children were at hand to celebrate with shirts that read, "You're strong daddy!!" The Roma captain scored his first goal on 4th September, 1994 against Foggia. On Tuesday, we might see Ryan Giggs come on for his 1000th all time appearance. Two players never more important for their clubs.
