Portugual lose a legend: Eusebio RIP

In Portugal before Cristiano Ronaldo there was Eusebio.
The Portuguese sports daily A’Bola said Eusébio had died of a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Eusébio was born in Mozambique which was then a Portuguese colony.He was the top scorer at the World Cup finals in 1966 scoring 9 goals.He he led his country to the semi-final, which they lost 2-1 to England.England went on to win that World Cup.
Eusebio scored 727 goals in 715 games for Benfica and was Portugal’s leading scorer until overtaken by Ronaldo. He was named European footballer of the year in 1965.

Cristiano Ronaldo in a message posted on his Facebook account alongside a photo of himself and Eusebio said “Eusebio will always be eternal. Rest in peace,”
