Liverpool went back to the top of the League after beating West Ham via two Steven Gerrard penalties.
The match had more than it’s fair share of controversy.The ref did’t give the wrong chap marching orders but he made a few other blunders nevertheless – like failing to see a goalie being manhandled and awarding a penalty where a stern look might have been enough.
