Brendan Rodgers – the end in sight ?

Liverpool has plummeted spectacularly from the loftiest heights to the lowliest low.The team that came tantalisingly close to winning the title last year have dropped to the depths quite dramatically.
Sunday’s loss to Manchester United now makes it the seventh defeat of the season and the worst start in 50 years. 21 points from 16 games.
Liverpool now have to play Bournemouth in a league cup tie and then a bouyed up Arsenal next sunday. Two more losses and Rodgers may be staring at a long walk back to the pavillion.

United on the other hand notched up their sixth consecutive league victory – an impressive feat for a team with a dodgy back line.Chelsea and Manchester City need to start looking over their shoulders a bit now.
