Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter has found itself at the receiving end of the not inconsiderable ire of a deeply deeply rankled Ibrahimovich.
The newspaper ranked the top 150 Swedes and had the audacity to rank Zlatan below tennis legend Bjorn Borg.
Zlatan has not taken kindly to this perception that any Swede other than himself could be given the first position.
When congratulated by the paper his imperious response was: “Thank you, but to finish second is like finishing last.I would have been No 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, with due respect to the others.”
So that’s one newspaper that’s going to find that its subscription to the Zlatan household stands cancelled..!

3. Jan-Ove Waldner, table tennis

4. Annika Sörenstam, golf

5. Ingemar Stenmark, alpine skiing

6. Carolina Klüft, heptathlon

7. Ingemar Johansson, boxing

8. Gunde Svan, cross-country skiing

9. Peter Forsberg, ice hockey

10. Gert Fredriksson, rowing

….and here’s a picture of Bjorn Borg for all the old timers out there who – inspite of running the risk of earning Zlatan’s terrible displeasure – would still consider Borg to be the coolest swede ever anyway…!
