Lionel Messi’s energetic and convincing peformance in Barca’s 3 -1 win over Atletico has put the speculation and controversy about him to rest for awhile.
Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United fans harbouring hopes of Messi shifting to their side of the fence did not get much to cheer about.
Messi had the first chance, created the opening goal for Neymar,gave Jordi another chance,had a shot at goal,assisted Suarez in his goal and scored the third.

And the Torres tragedy continues. He came on in the second half for Atletico but alas did not score.
