Ronaldo scored again at last giving much relief to his legion of fans.
However he had to use his head and not his ageing feet to score.
It was the first Champion’s League goal he has scored with his head outside the Bernabeu and also a record breaking 35th Champion’s League goal for him.
It was also his 58th goal in as many games for Real Madrid.
So things seem pretty much back to usual as far as he is concerned.
Real Madrid on the other hand are not back to usual.
The 2 – 0 win over Schalke is a far cry from last season’s 6-1 win over the same team.
