Real Madrid scraped into the Cl quarter finals by the skin of their teeth with a 4 -3 loss to a never say die Schalke.
With six minutes to go Schalke found themselves within a goal of knocking Real Madrid out of the competition but it was not to be.
On the plus side for Real – Ronaldo scored two goals and created yet another Cl record .
