Cristiano Ronaldo was allowed to play against Eibar on Saturday after he had a yellow card and a ban overturned.

Ronaldo was facing a one-match ban after because the ref thought this was a dive while Real were playing Rayo Vallecano last wednesday.

Turns out that the ref was wrong and C Ron emerged without a stain on his character.
He celebrated his returm to the side by scoring his first free kick in about a year and about 50 failed attempts.
Real Madrid went on to beat Eibar 3 – 0 to narrow the gap between them and Barcelona to a point.
The free kick in question is wasn’t particularly powerful or spectacular.It bounced in front of the goal and the goalie seemed to fall over in the wrong direction and somehow let the ball in.
