France’s 2 – 0 loss to Colombia was probably one of the biggest upsets in Women’s World Cup history.However a 5 – 0 thrashing of Mexico will have put the team in a better mood.
Louisa Necib,one of their best players,was benched for the game after being involved in an on-field dispute with a teammate during the Colombia game – but it turned out that they did not need her anyway.
