Teddy bear sits in vigil for Kozue Ando

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Kozue Ando of the Japanese Women’s World Cup team broke her left ankle in the first game Japan played against Switzerland.
A white teddy wearing a No. 7 jersey is placed on the bench in her honour.
Every game they have played since that fateful ankle breaking match – it sits there and keeps a beady eye on the proceedings.
Ancient Japanese soccer tradition perhaps.
