Cue complete fan meltdown but at least whatever his merits Danny Welbeck got signed last minute. This time, Wenger is in Paris on media commitments to the forthcoming international fixtures which has started off a now familiar surge of teeth gnashing. Fans are hoping he’s there to conclude other business as well, namely the signing of Cavani and Marc Rabiot. Something tells me, it ain’t going to happen.
