Brazil have bowed out of the Copa America.
They entered the match knowing a win or a draw would be good enough to win the group.
However Raul Ruidiaz’s goal in the 75th minute- which he scored using his hand – was controversially and tragically allowed to stand.
The goal can be seen about 2 minutes into the video below.
Terrible.
Why on earth can video replays not be allowed in international tournaments?
The handball can be clearly seen in only one of the three camera angles used for the replay.It’s impossible for a referee to spot infringements like this in real time.
Hope Gianni Infantino is looking at the replays.
