Cristiano Ronaldo returned from injury to score as Real Madrid thrashed Osasuna 5-2 at the Bernabéu.
They thus equalled the club’s 1960-61 record of 15 successive La Liga wins.
Barcelona on the other hand currently don’t have very much to be cheerful about.
They have lost Messi to injury and slumped to a most surprising home defeat to Alavés.
