Bayern Munich will play their next game against Hoffenheim in a kit made from recycled plastic found in the ocean.

“I’m a child of the beaches of Spain, so I’m really happy to wear a shirt entirely made of recycled ocean waste,” said Xabi Alonso.“It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the oceans.”

Real Madrid are also doing a wee bit for the environment.They will also play in a kit made from litter collected from the ocean when they play Sporting Gijon on 26 November.
