Lionel Messi equaled Ronald Koeman’s free-kick record for Barcelona when he scored in Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Atletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey.
Koeman was called the “King of free kicks” during his playing days and Messi has drawn level with him with 26 free kick goals each.

Another point of interest in the game is that Barcelona’s scoring trident of Messi,Suarez and Neymar all scored a goal each in the win.It was also Suarez’s 100th goal for Barcelona.
