Zlatan banned for 3 matches

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been cast into the sin bin where he will serve a three-match ban as repentance for whacking Tyrone Mings with his elbow.
The Football Association slapped a charge of violent conduct on him,and he said “mea culpa”

He admitted that he had clobbered Tyrone Mings good and proper with his elbow, and that his earlier explanation that Tyrone had jumped into his elbow was, upon reflection,a bit of an exaggeration.Mings meanwhile has picked up a 5 match stint in the sin bin for his crime of stamping on Zlatan’s head a bit before Zlatan exacted vengeance on him with his mighty elbow.
The upshot is that Mourinho will have to do without Zlatan’s matchwinning kung fu kicks for the next three domestic outings. He will, however, be able to play when United make the long journey to Russia to take on Rostov in the Europa League.
