Sergio Aguero became the joint all time top scorer for Manchester City when he scored his 177th goal in the 3 – 0 win against Burnley.Aguero scored his seventh Premier League goal in 7 games with a first-half penalty and is now joint top scorer alongside Eric Brook.
Brook played 453 games for City between 1928 and 1940 and led the club’s scoring charts since overtaking Tom Johnson’s total 166. Brook’s record-breaking effort came away to Bradford City in September 1938.That record has been around for a long time.It took 11 years to set and has stood for 78 years.Guardiola forsees even greater things ahead for Aguero
