EL Clasico turned out to be a bit of a damp squibico for Real Madrid.Lionel Messi and Co beat them 3- 0 on their home turf. Full marks to Barcelona’s understated boss Ernesto Valverde.
Zidane on the other hand has his work cut out for him as Real’s title defence is looking more and more like the impossible dream.
Poor old Ronaldo had a bad day.First he had a goal(correctly) ruled offside about two minutes into the game.
Then,about 10 minutes later, he managed to miss the ball entirely – kicking air instead– right in front of the Barcelona goal.If he had connected – it might have been a goal.
To make matters worse a Messi freekick then got him full on the head a little later.

Messi on the other hand had a great El Clasico.In what must be a first at the Bernabeu his assist for Barcelona’s third goal was made with one boot off.He had lost the boot while tangling with Marcelo.Having got the ball off him he made the goal scoring pass even though he was wearing only one boot.Ronaldo,wearing both boots,couldn’t stop the pass.He might as well have been wearing high heels.Poor guy had a really bad day.
