Barcelona and Valencia maintained a minutes silence before the kickoff of their Copa del Rey second leg game in memory of teenage footballer Nacho Barbera tragically died on the pitch after suffering a cardiac arrest a few days ago.
The UD Alzira player was playing in the 13-14 age group against CD Esport Base Ontinyent when he collapsed on the pitch and died before he reached the hospital.
Unbelievable.
Barcelona eventually beat Valencia 2 – 0 and one of those was Phillipe Coutinho’s first Barcelona goal.
