Thanks for this link, and thanks to Rob Hughes for his article. Frankly, I had no problem with Blatter's comment. I agree with it entirely - misquoted or not. I have no respect nor admiration for a world cup winner that has exactly one credible game in the entire tournament (v. Germany), can't even dominate the final, decides to wait for penalties in the final and then ensures its victory by deliberately provoking the opposing team's best penalty taker off the pitch.
