Luis Arroyave of the Chicago Tribune looks at the MLS draft from the perspective of being a Chicago Fire fan. The Fire drafted defender Bakary Soumare from the Univ of Virginia. Maurice Edu, forward from Maryland was drafted first by Toronto.
