Video: Liverpool FC: 2005 Champions League is a wonderful memory

You’ll never walk alone
when you walk through a storm
hold your head up high
and don’t be afraid of the dark
at the end of a storm is a golden sky
and the sweet silver song of a lark
walk on through the wind
walk on through the rain
tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown
walk on, walk on
with hope in your heart
and you’ll never walk alone
you’ll never, walk alone
Stirring words that might taste like mush in the mouth for a number of Liverpool fans after Arsenal’s shellacking. Hats off to the Liverpudlians who have sat through their team’s miserable season so far. After being humiliated by Arsenal, 3-1 in the FA Cup 3rd round, Rafa Benitez decided that the Carling Cup was a bit of bling worth fighting for with his second stringers against the Gunners second stringers, only to find out that their second stringers were far better, resulting in another humiliation, 6-3. Their last three encounters against the Gunners have resulted in a 12-4 pasting.
Now they have lost Luis Garcia, their medio for the season to a torn ACL and Mark Gonzalez for three weeks to a shin bruise. What a difference a year makes.
Here is the video of the Liverpool team that won the Champions League against AC Milan in 2005 what is considered the greatest final in cup history. Their match against Barca is coming up next month and with it their last hope of putting silverware on the trophy table this season.
