Thanks to Carlos for bringing attention to this wondrous talent. He would be a fantastic counterpart to Aaron Lennon if he ever joins the Spurs. Together they would molest all opposition in sight. There is also the inevitable comparison to Cristiano Ronaldo. Quaresma has become famous for his amazing technique in which he crosses the ball with the outer part of his right foot, in order to achieve a curve in which the ball is "pulled" away from the keeper right to the feet of the striker. His lack of defensive skills is cited as a reason for his exclusion from the Portugal World Cup squad but there is indication that he has vastly improved this aspect making him a more complete team player. A toast to the genius of Ricardo Quaresma!
