Barcelona’s defence of their Champions League crown ended in a whimper. They won the game against Liverpool 1 – 0 but it was not enough to get them into the quarter finals because of the away goals rule.Elsewhere Michael Ballack kept Chelsea’s and Mourinho’s dreams alive as his late goal earned them a 2 -1 win over Porto (video)

I watched the game, and with exception of the goal made by Gudjonsen to Barcelona, the team of Liverpool was far superior, and the Norwegian Rise was the best in the field during the game. I believe Liverpool will be a strong force during the quarterfinal phase.
