  1. I swear I have watched this goal over and over again and still can understand how that happened, I mean the footwork before the goal! van Persie has always been my main player and even when we had uncle Henry I said to my friends dat RVP is the one to look up to. Let’s hope injury doesn’t strike coz if not, he’s the highest goal scorer for next season. I bet Drogba, Christiano and Ronaldihno, even Henry and Eto’o would copy dat skill d youngstar displayed. Anyhow, UP GUNNERS!!!

  2. I’ve watched that goal like 3 or 4 times in slow-motion, and I still can’t really tell exactly what he did with the ball.

  3. Fantastic stuff from the gunners! We still have problems to solve but it was amazing how much better many players looked. And Eboue looks like a terrific winger! His work with Sagna was excellent. Van Persie bit of magic was classic RVP — the boy is a real talent. Wonderful to see how Hleb is getting back his confidence–and it may be that he is better behind the main striker than on the wings. It was GREAT to hear everyone booing that lowlife scumbag Materazzi every time he touched the ball, esp. after he trashed Arsenal to the press on Saturday.
