Check out, Materazzi, once on the bench in suit and tie, was bad mouthing an ex-Internazionale player Cirillo who was now playing for Siena, from John Foot's book, Materazzi was urging his Inter teammates to attack him, calling Cirillo rubbish on the pitch and ended up giving Cirillo a split lip in a fight in the tunnel.
Hey, the Rolling Stones invited Marco up on stage at one of their concerts in Italy and Materazzi thanked them and said it was a dream come true; say what you will, Patrick Vieira, Internazionale teammate with Marco said "He's likeable in his own way." Who knows what kind of childhood Materazzi grew up with and what values he has because he's from Sicily. I guess that's about the best I can say about him.
A player fell on him? Awwww, poor Marcobaby. Out for 4 months -- I'm sure he'll use the time to write yet another book about the headbutt.
