i think the start to the season shows embryonic signs of asrenes supreme shrewdness. im beginnin to think we may have kept hold of henry for a season too long, but sayin that we never got rid of bergkamp post 30, and look at what he did for us in his so called 'twilight years'. However, it is the nature of the arsenal set up that the old talent MUST be replaced to continue a record stint in top flight football(roll on 83 conseq seasons). all in all, this start is evidence, if needed, that inlike certain other london based clubs we dont need to pay thierry henry prices for thierry henry quality, let alone d bent quality. Special mention to hleb for takin the rakins he got last year nd steppin up RVP has always been top drawer, as has cesc(worst mistake barca ever made, lettin him go) but all in all, i see the team flourishing from its recent, far from painless, pruning, COME ON THE YOUNG GUNS!!!!
