Warner hits the headlines again

Former chairman of the Scottish FA, John McBeth, said Jack Warner asked him to make the match fee cheque payable to him personally following a Trinidad and Tobago friendly against Scotland in May 2004.
McBeth said: ‘I later found out he had approached other Scottish FA staff to do the same thing.’
The accusation was made on Monday night’s BBC Panorama programme.
FIFA’s comment “‘We are absolutely unconcerned about this programme.”
Warner said: ‘It’s lies issued by someone whom I got removed from the FIFA executive committee and whose memory has suddenly come to life.’ More on that story here….
