Beckham took the penalty well. I was at the game in Sydney recently when Galaxy played Sydney FC. You can a report of the experience at www.soccercoachingguide.com
Beckham certainly can draw a crowd and he did score one of his trademark goals from a free kick during that game, which they lost by the way 5-2. A player I had not seen before but looked class was Donovan. I also heard he would like to come and play in the Australian A League. I think that would do OK.
