Given the fact that Drogba went absolutely berserk, he got off easy.
He has been banned for six UEFA matches.
He has subsequently been charged with breaching the principles of sportsmanship by insulting the referee and making offensive comments.
The last two of these matches will be deferred over a probationary period of two years. Jose Bosingwa was also banned for 4 matches, the last one deferred over a period of two years also.
