Man Utd announces Carlos Tevez is leaving Old Trafford.
"Disappointingly, his advisors informed the club that he does not wish to continue playing for Manchester United," read a United statement.
"The club thanks Carlos for his services over the last two seasons and wishes him good luck for the future."
A quick note on the two transfers out of Man Utd. They represent the worst in football practices. In the first, a divisive and outlandish transfer fee hard to fathom in this reeling economy. And in the other, shadowy third party economic interests which the EPL have found hard to untangle from.
For Sir Alex, his depth chart got a lot shallower. Antonio Valencia remains their best bet to join the club.
