The worst economic times in 70 years, with Spain's unemployment rate projected to reach almost 19%, and no real recovery till 2011. Real's purchase of Ronaldo exceeds the total budget of 16 teams in the Liga. When the summer is done, Real is expected to have paid 300 million euros in transfers.
How would this 300 million euros be raised:
1) A 100 million in cash.
2) The sale of Van Nistelrooy, Van der Vaart, Saviola, Sneijder, Huntelaar, Heinze, Mahmadou Diarra.
3) Securing bank loans of 100 million at the most favourable rates.
