Clarin has the countdown (In Spanish). Carlos Ischia leaves after the Clausura ends. Eleven candidates have been shortlisted to replace him. The money is on Alfio Basile since Carlos Bianchi has a clause that says that he will never succeed Ischia. Bianchi seems to have taken a managerial leave of absence according to Riquelme.
The well traveled Basile achieved extra-ordinary success in his brief tenure as Boca manager in 2005. Five titles won: Apertura '05, Clausura '06, Recopa Sudamericana '05 and '06, and the Copa Sudamericana '05.
