The Pharaohs perform namaz after their win against Italy

Blatter was very critical of the Seleccao for huddling together in prayer after they won the Confederations Cup final against the USA. He called their gesture "a danger" and said there was "no room for religion in soccer."

Blatter also promised he would prohibit any kind of religious expression during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

He might want to pull up Egypt's team too if he wants to appear even handed. For the record as this comment points out, it would be impossible circumventing the myriad religious symbols in football without irrevocably changing its identity.
