Juventus: Melo passes his medicals

Felipe Melo passed his medical examination and will begin training on July 22. He agreed to a five year contract and his transfer cost Juventus € 25 million. From the Juventus website:

"I am very happy to have joined Juventus and can't wait to start working. I believe very much in this team that was reinforced and that can compete with anybody in an attempt to reach all the goals in Italy and in Europe."

He should be a perfect foil to the attacking instincts of fellow Brazilians, Diego and Amauri. With his move and Diego's installation Juventus should be considered a serious challenger for the Scudetto next season. I think the dismissive Zero Tituli will come to an end.
