Many Galaxy players with New York roots

There are a number of players who grew up in the New York area. Veteran defender Gregg Berhalter grew up in Tenafly, NJ and attended St Benedicts High School along with Claudio Reyna. Alecko Eskandrian is a Montvale, NJ native and was a standout at Bergen Catholic. Edson Buddle was raised in New Rochelle and also played for the Red Bulls. Stefani Miglioranzi is from Port Chester, N.Y,and won an NCAA championship at St. John's University.
