Fredy Montero replaces the injured Guillermo Barros Schelotto. He has struck form after a slow start and now trails Schelloto in goals scored. He also has six assists. Joining him will be fellow Colombian and Seattle Sounder team mate, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado.

With their inclusion, the Seattle Sounders have four players on the All Star roster including Freddie Ljungberg and Kasey Keller. This is the first time in MLS history that an All Star team has so many players represented from an expansion team.
