According to the Spanish media, negotiations between between striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Stuttgart have broken down just when an agreement seemed imminent. It appears that Huntelaar was dissatisfied with Stuttgart's wage offer.

Now, he is back on the market and the Gunners have been mentioned as a club that might be interested in his services. Then again these are the Spanish tabloids, so everything should be taken with a huge pinch of salt.
