As the video shows Cruzeiro was in command in most of the first half with Kleber being a handful down the left. But the Pincharratas kept absorbing the pressure and even when they went a goal down they managed to effect a turnaround in the second half as Cruzeiro seemingly ran out of gas and become disorganized and sloppy. It was the Argentinian side's fourth Libertadores title and their first after 39 years.
