Today the King of Pop will be remembered at the Staples Center tribute.
The Exeter City speech took place in 2002 as he was brought on board by Uri Geller, the eccentric telekinesis guru as part of a business venture to save the troubled club. MJ served a brief tenure as a honorary director of the club's football board where it was hoped his celebrity status would put the club on the map.
