Liverpool will not likely get their asking price of 41 million euros for Alonso but a smaller figure of 30 million.

Even Rafa Benitez has given a tacit go ahead as he is tiring off all the transfer speculation and has essentially said that this is Alonso's decision to make. As per the Spanish media, the Liverpool midfielder has a 48 hour deadline before becoming Real's fifth big signing. They seem pretty confident that this will go through.

Should think so too , Rafa is an idiot asking for £30 mill when he was ready to flog him to anybody who asked for £15 last season.
Alonso's got no trust in Benitez anymore better to let him go than keep an unhappy player, with this fiasco and the ongoing whining of Macherano is sure to derail Liverpools championship attemp before the season even starts..
Grow up Rafa £24 mill is easy enough to buy a decent midfielder just i dont know if i trust you with the cash after recent signings.. Dossenna , Lucas , Babel , Leto , Voronin .etc etc etc.
