Bordeaux loss: Diego deflects blame on to Ciro Ferrara

How in blazes did Diego miss that sure shot equalizer a few yards out of goal in the 64th minute? In fact, his deflection took the ball out of Amauri's reach as both players breached the Bordeaux defense to arrive at the same time to receive Del Piero's cross. Cedric Carrasco was at both their mercy.

Both Amauri and Del Piero looked on in disbelief. The moment seemed to crystallize Dunga's reluctance to pick Diego for the Brazil squad given his obvious talent.

Diego before he could become the victim, hit back at Ciro Ferrara.

"It's not a fitness issue, it is an organisational one," he told Tuttosport before apparently calling into question boss Ciro Ferrara's methods.

"Ferrara must identify these problems and explain to us how to solve them because we have to get out of this situation."

Its a bit rich blaming Ferrara for "organizational issues" when he could have at least given Juve a fighting chance to force a draw. Now, they have to face Bayern Munich at home if they want to progress onto the knockout stage.
