Remember last summer, when the news was Dubai International Capital (DIC) was so close to buying out Liverpool from Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
Well, the club would have passed from one group of bankrupt owners to another if the deal had gone through. Dubai Inc., is now so deep in debt that they have asked creditors for a grace period till May to pay off $60 billion. Abu Dhabi had to step in and save Dubai with a cash infusion this February.
