Naguib Sawiris feels that the match should be postponed

Want an Orascom cell phone?

Egypt's giant telecom company, Orascom had its Algiers compund burned and ransacked by thousands of Algerian fans. Property worth $5m was either destroyed or stolen according to Orascom's CEO Naguib Sawiris.

He also said Orascom had evacuated 20 Egyptian staff members and their families from Algeria, following the incident. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry summoned Algeria's ambassador to express their concern about the safety of their citizens in Algiers.

Fearing even more damage, Sawiris thinks that it's a good idea to postpone the match to bring the temperature down.

He is ranked 60th in the Forbes 400 richest men in the world with $12.7 billion in personal wealth.
