Rough match with Buffon going at it with Thiago Motta. Sissoko being felled by a blow in the ensuing melee. Felipe Melo throwing an elbow at Mario Balotelli which got him sent off. Martin Caceres and Sulley Muntari going at it. Martin Samuel's hard nosed tactics against Alessandro Del Piero and Fabio Cannavaro.

Jose Mourinho got sent off for protesting Chiellini's deflection of a Diego free kick which beat Julio Cesar. Samuel Eto'o equalized for Inter after heading a cross by Dejan Stankovic past Buffon. But it was Claudio Marchisio's bit of genius that gave Juventus the lead for good.

After Inter threatened once again to run away from the rest of the pack, the title race is wide open with four points separating second place Milan who seem to have stabilized nicely after a rough start. Juventus meanwhile moves to within five points and lie in third place, whereas Parma complete the top four with 25 points.
