Theo Walcott isn't just being lambasted for not having a "footballing brain" he is being targeted by the "pink shoes" mafia.
Walcott's lonely vigil and footwear choice at the Camp Nou was not appreciated by a certain Mr Richard Keys of Sky Sports. Keys is a sort of legend when it comes to off camera gaffes.

It's an off the cuff reference to Richard Keys, the Sky Sports announcer who mocked Theo Walcott on his choice of footwear against Barca- a pair of bright pink cleats. It was the only thing that stood out in his performance.
What is the "ping shoe mafia"? I've never heard of this.
