Oscar Cardozo's free kick traversed a perfect arc to beat Braga's Artur for the winning goal. The Paraguayan had a hand in his side's first goal. His header off Maxi Pereira's cross struck the upright but Jardel was perfectly positioned to toe poke the rebound for the lead. Vandinho scored a valuable away goal as he deflected his header superbly off Hugo Viana's free kick past a wrong footed Roberto.
