Barca's B team beat its Real Madrid counterparts 3-1 in the Youth Champions Cup final on Saturday notching up another El Clasico victory in what appears to be a disheartening harbinger for their arch rivals. Within this team lies the next generation of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Pique, Puyol, and Pedro. Scary, isn't it? A thousand year reign.

Rafa Alcantara aka Rafinha was the star with two goals and an assist. The 18 year old is the son of midfielder Mazinho who was part of Brazil's 1994 World Cup winning squad. Older brother Thiago will make the transition to the senior squad this summer and is also part of Spain's U21.

Gerard Deulofeu, Oriol Romeu, Marc Muniesa, Cristian Tello, Ilie Sánchez, Martí Riverola, and Sergi Gómez are names to watch out for. Giovani Dos Santos's brother Jonathan progress as a holding midfielder is being monitored by Pep Guardiola. Barca B's Andreu Fontas was most recently promoted coming in place of Eric Abidal for the rest of the season.
